Job Position Requirements & Expectations
Dog Groomer Responsibilities:

Perform professional grooming services, including bathing, brushing, haircuts, and styling

Trim and buff nails: Clean ears and brush teeth: Perform anal gland expression if needed

Ensure the safety and comfort of all dogs during grooming

Communicate with pet owners about grooming needs and preferences

Maintain a clean and organized grooming area

Monitor and report any health issues or concerns observed during grooming

Handle dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments

Keep grooming equipment clean and properly maintained

Requirements:

At least 18 years old
-
At least one year of professional grooming experience

Reliable transportation
-
Flexible schedule; able to work some opening, closing, and weekend shifts, and be available during summer, spring, and winter breaks (all holidays off)

Compensation:
-
Commission-based pay (40% to 50% based on experience and dedication)

Potential for growth and performance-based pay increases
